about

Ragee played his Taylor Flugelhorn, a Hofner 65 Galaxie Electric Guitar, a Gibson J45 Acoustic Guitar, a Benge Trumpet and an 1890 Henri Lefevre Cornet.
Simon Edwards played his Gibson 335 semi-acoustic through an MXR phaser, a Digitech Whammy into an Electroharmonix Memoryman, he Moogafooged! He jammed an Ibanez tube screamer into a Turbo Rat. He also played my old 1970 Framus 12 string acoustic very nicely.
Michael Barker played his Roland handsonic, Pearl percussion and a big bag of toys.
Simon Burke played his old Wurlitzer electric piano, an Angel Melodica, Joe’s old Hammond Organ, plus the acoustic Piano at Woodstock.
Mr. Haymes played an old mono Synth and other various keyboards through a Kaos pad and a crate of effects that I don't dare go into… he also played harpsichord, an old out of tune Piano from a forgotten corner of his house and his own 1960’s Wurlitzer.
Graham Lee played his own 1985 MCI Pedal Steel.
Matiss Shubert played his 100 year old Violin but he couldn’t tell me the make because it was too dusty!
Rebecca Barnard and Jodi Bell used their very own Vocal Chords.
Nicky Bomba played his Sonor Drums.
Simon Dawe plays his old Slingerland kit.
Tony Floyd played ancient Cymbalinos hand made by the hill men of Persia.
Andy Price plays his 1970’s Fender Precision Bass.
Adam Simmons played a Temby Flute, a Emerson Piccolo, an Amati Bass Clarinet, a Shakuhachi made by Chikuyu Okadera and last but not least, a Keilwerth Baritone Sax.
Steve Hadley mostly played his Hofner “Beatle” Bass, but also a bit of his 58 Fender Precision.
James Sherlock played one of his Hancock Archtop Guitars and he also played a bit on my Hofner Galaxie.
Evan Jones played Joe’s 67 Maton “El Toro” Bass and also played his custom G&M.
Randall Forsyth played his McGrath Thinline Tele and Joe’s 66 Vox Mando Guitar through double echo units in reverse, then a Morley Wah to zoom.
Kasper Raglus played his “Baby” Martin acoustic Guitar.
For Amps we used a 1960’s Vox AC30, a 70’s Fender Twin, a 1964 Goldentone and a 1974 Roland Jazz Chorus 60.

Thank you…
To Joe Camilleri, not only for the lend of his 66 Vox Mando Guitar and his 67 Maton “El Toro” Bass, but also for his advice on the final versions of those songs.
To The Beachniks, my good buddys who allowed me the luxury of road testing most of these songs.
Jody Bell and Angie Andrianakis who let me stay in their love shack for the duration of the recording… and specially to Jodi who was about to have a baby but came along and sang as well…Welcome Frank!!
To Victoriana Gaye who loves music the mostest!
To Andrew Walker, Joe and Head Records for believing in me, past and present.
Most of all – thank you to all my beautiful musician friends who came and contributed to this recording.
